The Australian Energy Transition Institute, AETI, is an international group of collaborators and aims to be a world-leading independent energy think-tank. AETI operates as a virtual institute and brings together Australian and international experts from various disciplines.

AETI conducts research and provides analytical and consulting services on energy and environmental issues that support the transition of the fossil fuel sectors and the adoption of clean and green energy technologies.

AETI is one of the founding institutes of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS). ISETS is a global non-profit professional organization headquartered in Australia, with over 600 members in 50+ nations and partnerships with more than ten international organizations.
